My bridge isn't found.

Make sure your Philips Hue bridge is:

If pairing still fails, the app's Bridge Pairing screen has a manual IP entry option under "Try again."

How do I manage my subscription?

iOS handles all subscription billing. To cancel, change plans, or view history: iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Hue Story. Apple will also email you any receipts.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Delete Account. You have 30 days to recover if you change your mind. Full details: /delete-account.

What data is stored where?

Audio and transcripts stay on your phone. Your Hue Story library (story titles + metadata), subscription state, and usage counters are synced via Supabase so you can sign in on a new device. Our privacy policy has the full breakdown.

The Director isn't reacting to what I'm reading.

Check that the session screen is active (not paused or frozen). If you're in a quiet voice, the on-device speech recognizer may not be picking you up clearly — try reading at a natural volume. If you're on Wi-Fi and connected, the app also uses cloud inference for richer decisions; when offline it falls back to a local classifier with a narrower reaction set.

I'm approaching my monthly limit.

Paid plans include 600 minutes and 30 sessions per month. Usage resets on your billing anniversary. The Usage tab shows your current state. When you hit a cap mid-session, the session completes normally; the next session is blocked until the reset or you upgrade.
