Terms of Service

By using Hue Story, you agree to these terms. Keep them readable — if you have questions, email support@huestory.app.

Subscriptions

• Monthly plan: $6.99 USD per month.
• Annual plan: $58.99 USD per year.
• Free trial: 14 days for new subscribers, including 300 minutes of audio and 10 sessions.
• Auto-renewal: On by default. Cancel any time from iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
• Billing is handled by Apple. Refund decisions are Apple's; request refunds through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Usage limits

• Paid plans include 600 minutes of audio and 30 sessions per billing period.
• Limits reset on your billing anniversary.
• Reaching a limit mid-session does not terminate the session; the next session is blocked until reset.

Your content

You own the stories and session content you create. We store the minimum metadata required to run the app (see the privacy policy). We never use your audio or transcripts to train models.

Acceptable use

Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the service. Don't abuse the Director inference endpoints (e.g. automated scripting). The usage limits above protect everyone.

Third-party services

Hue Story depends on: Philips Hue (bridge + bulbs, controlled by Signify), Apple (iOS + StoreKit), Supabase (authentication + database), OpenAI (narrative Director). We are not affiliated with any of them beyond standard developer access.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will surface in-app before they take effect. The current version lives at https://huestory.app/terms.
