Delete Your Account

You can delete your Hue Story account at any time. There are two paths:

In the app (recommended)

Open Hue Story.
Go to the Settings tab.
Scroll to Delete Account.
Confirm by typing DELETE.

By email

Send a message to support@huestory.app from the email associated with your account. Include your request to delete. We'll process it within 7 days.

30-day recovery window

Your account is deactivated immediately, but permanent deletion runs 30 days later. During that window, signing back in restores everything. After day 30, your data is permanently deleted.

What gets deleted

Your account record and email.
Your story library metadata on our servers.
Session history and usage counters associated with your user ID.
Any local data when you confirm deletion in the app.

What happens to your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — that is controlled by Apple. To cancel billing: iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Hue Story. Apple processes any refund decisions independently.
